I needed to have a new operating system for a computer I built. I got Windows 11 Pro specifically for the Remote Desktop ability. Purchase and redemption of Windows was relatively fast and easy. I was unable to use the provided Office Pro 2019 license key (already used?) and was forced to get a refund and repurchase the product by itself (as opposed to the bundle).

I was mainly looking for a more recent version of MS Office to the one I have installed, so the 2019 version was good enough. The bonus here was getting Windows 11 Pro as well. The Windows 11 Pro upgrade was a doddle to perform, as you just do within Windows itself, and takes less than a minute. For the Office install, I spent some additional time, and used the MS Office removal tool to get rid of all remnants of the older versions I'd installed. That took about 15 minutes, but was well worth it, as I never had any issues with the Office install. That install took 2-3 minutes, and then another minute or so to activate the licence by signing into my account, closing and reopening the app, and signing in again. Haven't used it in earnest yet to see what's new, but it is working. The only negative part about the purchase was the last minute addition of $9.99 in tax at the very end of the purchase process, as there's no explanation as to what this 'tax' is for, as it can't be for media delivery.

It's possible to get both serial numbers on the spot, get the ISO file, install Windows, install Office and activate on the spot. Both licenses are added to your Microsoft account, so they are also backed up and tied to your account, which is another plus and peace of mind.

Microsoft Office 2019 software loaded without any problems and is functioning very well but the software to upgrade my version of Windows 11 Home Edition to Windows 11 Pro would not work. I have given up after 4 attempts.
